Inventory and point of sale

Run every outlet from one screen.

Storbriz is inventory and point of sale for phone, laptop, electronics and appliance shops. Record a sale once and stock, receipt, customer record and reports update from it. From one outlet to many, on the web and on Android.

Open the day on one screen: the first screen of the recording.

Today’s sales, the month so far, stock value, low stock and pending transfers across all outlets.

The problem

Running more than one counter means running on guesswork.

These are the things owners of phone, laptop and appliance shops tell us about most. If a few of them sound familiar, the rest of this deck is for you.

  • 01

    Stock lives in people's heads

How many units of a model are in each shop? Often the only way to know is to phone the manager.

  • 02

Sales and stock never quite agree

The receipt book says one thing, the stock book another, and the difference gets found at month end.

  • 03

    Spreadsheets and paper everywhere

A sale gets written into a receipt book, a stock book, a takings sheet and a WhatsApp group.

  • 04

Hard to see who did what

When staff share one login, or none, nobody can say who sold an item or changed its price.

  • 05

No view of what actually sells

Fast movers run out while slow stock sits on the shelf, because the numbers are not in one place.

  • 06

    Transfers by phone call

Stock leaves one branch and arrives at another with no record of what was sent or received.

  • 07

    Reports built by hand

Getting a reliable sales or stock report means an evening with a calculator.

The idea

Record a sale once. Everything else updates from it.

Storbriz keeps products, stock, sales, outlets, staff and reports in one place. A sale at the counter reduces stock at that outlet, prints the receipt, adds the customer and lands in the day's report. Nothing is written twice.

  • 01

    Products

One catalogue with cost, price, brand, model, SKU and warranty.

  • 02

    Stock

Counted per outlet, with low-stock thresholds and a full movement ledger.

  • 03

    Sales

A point of sale that prints the receipt and updates stock in the same step.

  • 04

    Outlets

Every branch on one dashboard, with stock transfers between them.

  • 05

    Staff

Each person has a login and a role. Every sale carries a name.

  • 06

    Performance

Nineteen reports, filtered by outlet, date and employee.

Stock and outlets

Know what is in every shop without phoning the manager.

  • Counted per outlet

A product exists once. Its quantity, reserved units, threshold and optional price are tracked at each outlet.

  • Low stock flagged

Set a threshold per product per outlet. Items at or below it appear on the low-stock list and raise an alert.

  • Every change explained

Sales, adjustments, transfers, returns and damage each write a ledger entry with the count before and after.

  • Transfers with a trail

Create a transfer, dispatch it, and the receiving outlet confirms what arrived. Partial receipts record the difference.

  • Sell here, collect there

A sale at one outlet can be fulfilled from another. Revenue stays with the selling outlet and stock leaves the fulfilling one.

How a stock transfer runs

  1. CreatePick the source outlet, the destination, and the products and quantities.
  2. DispatchStock leaves the source outlet and the transfer is marked in transit.
  3. NotifyStaff at the destination see the incoming transfer in the app.
  4. ReceiveThey confirm what arrived. A short count is saved as a discrepancy.
  5. LedgerBoth outlets get a stock movement entry, so the trail is complete.

Search a product, see how many units the other outlet has, then open its stock detail and filter for items running low.

Sales and everyday operations

A counter that keeps its own records.

  • Fast at the counter

Search by name, SKU or barcode, set quantities, apply a discount within the limit you set, and take cash, transfer, card or credit.

  • Receipts, printed or reprinted

Customer and merchant copies from the browser, or from an Android phone to a Bluetooth receipt printer. Every reprint is logged.

  • Serial, IMEI and warranty

Mark a product as needing a serial number or IMEI and the till asks for it. Both print on the receipt with the warranty period.

  • A name on every sale

Staff sign in with their own ID and PIN. The cashier, the default price and the price actually charged are all saved.

  • Five roles

Owner, Admin, Manager, Cashier and Employee, each seeing only what their role and outlet allow.

One sale, four records, written once

  1. ReceiptListed with outlet, cashier, customer, payment and amount.
  2. Stock ledgerEach item leaves the outlet it was sold from, with the count before and after.
  3. CustomerThe buyer becomes a customer record that every later purchase adds to.
  4. ReportThe sales summary for that outlet and day already includes it.
Sell from the mobile app: the first screen of the recording.

A manager sells two screen protectors from an Android phone, takes cash and gets the receipt number straight away.

Reporting and insights

Nineteen reports. Filter, download, done.

  • Filter any report by date range, outlet and employee.
  • Download as CSV or Excel, or print from the browser.
  • Price variance shows where items sold below their default price, and by whom.
  • The dashboard carries sales today, this month, stock value and alerts across all outlets.

Built for growing shops

From one counter to a chain of them.

Storbriz was built for shops that sell phones, laptops, gadgets, electronics and appliances. Start with one outlet and add branches, staff and modules as the business grows.

  • A phone shop opening a second branch

Stock is counted at each branch. A customer who pays at one can collect at the other. The owner sees both from one dashboard.

  • A laptop and accessories store

Serial numbers are captured at the till and printed on the receipt with the warranty period. Price changes by staff show up in a report.

  • An appliance showroom with home delivery

Record the sale, raise the delivery, assign a driver and mark it delivered. Purchase orders bring new stock in from suppliers.

  • A gadget and accessories counter

Hundreds of small items with barcodes. Scan to add, print labels, and let the low-stock list drive the next restock.

Everything included, by module:

  • Products and categories
  • Inventory and alerts
  • Point of sale and receipts
  • Outlets and transfers
  • Staff and permissions
  • Customers
  • Suppliers and purchase orders
  • Invoices and proformas
  • Deliveries
